Dakore Egbuson-Akande Covers Anniversary Issue Of Genevieve Magazine
As Genevieve Magazine celebrates their 17th-year-milestone, they had a chat with Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande for their 2020 anniversary edition.

Five African Countries Have Qualified For The Ethical Fashion Initiative's Accelerator
Simon Cipriani who piloted ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative in collaboration with Europe Aid has launched a new program Ethical Fashion Initiative Accelerator which will be focusing on the specific needs of the African fashion brands.
The initiative will be targetting existing fashion brands who require additional support to fuel their businesses in the global market.

Dakore Egbuson Akande was selected as one of the judges of the accelerator panels, announced on her Instagram handle the winners of the initiative being Reign ZA SA, Margaux Wong Burundi, Wuman Nigeria NG, Lukhanyo Mdingi SA, De la Subere Burkina Faso, and Jiamini Kenya.
The ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative is a program created by the International Trade Center, which is a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization.
Dakore Akande is a Nigerian actress and an ambassador for Amnesty International, Amstel Malta and Oxfam of America. She appeared as a main feature in the Visual Collaborative electronic catalog, in an issue themed Vivencias(Experiences in Spanish. She was interviewed alongside 30 more people across the world.
