COVID19: Foundation That Can Be Applied Without Touching The Face

Hygiene is being taken more seriously these days because of the widespread of coronavirus in the world. Just recently beauticians were advised to suspend all activities however there are some events which just can't be put on a hold probably because of the worth of it.

Since we have beauticians suspending we have got to do certain things ourselves like applying our foundation, lip gloss, e.t.c.

Hand sanitizer, soap, and plastic gloves have become a hot commodity, and makeup that doesn’t require you to touch your face may be next. There’s no better time than now to get acquainted with foundation spray.

Foundation spray is essentially a foundation that you spray onto a makeup brush, or directly onto your skin for airbrush coverage. And the best part is you can perfect your complexion without using your hands.

How To Wash Your Beauty Blender Properly

My beauty blender used to be of the makeup tools which gave me a lot of headaches because of how difficult it is to clean. They are just porous and absorb water, product, and can grow bacteria inside. I ended up buying the tool on every occasion and as small as the money looked it, it caused a lot of harm.

Beauty blenders have a unique ability to absorb water, which expands their shape. When the sponge is at its fullest absorption, it soaks up far less product, allowing the foundation to be applied to the skin and not soaked into the beauty blender. This also means it’s easier to clean than the average sponge.

First, it’s important to find the right cleanser.  You can use liquid brush cleansers, or the same cleanser you use on your face. Fully immerse the beauty blender in warm water under the tap. Next gently “swirl and lather” the beauty blender on the solid soaps and massage the soap in the beauty tool.

One lather, massage, and rinse usually isn’t enough, so you need to allow the soap to break apart product buildup within the tool. You’ll know you have a clean beauty blender when the suds you squeeze out are clear from foundation tones.

Finally, squeeze out as much water as possible. This will allow the beauty blender to dry faster. Let the beauty blender fully air dry as well before placing them back into a closed container, or you may find your half damp, sealed sponges have decided to mold.

HACK: Fastest Way To Make Yourself Up In Less Than 10 Minutes

We don't always need to apply heavy makeup to tell a story, there are days we just need something very light to go about our day to day activities.

For work, class, or any other calm environment, you could, first of all, get your face cleaned with a cleanser, then moisturize your face with the right moisturizer, to keep the skin moisturized. Match your foundation to your skin tone perfectly. Conceal dark under-eye circles. Use bold blushes. Finish your routine with a setting powder.

You can decide not to apply mascara or draw your brow, just get a very cool swapping colour or shade of mascara to add a subtle sparkle to your eyes. Just applying a different shade of mascara covers up for your eyeshadow and eyeliner. You could, however, pair it with a coral balm to brighten your whole look.

For full brows and a fuschia Lips, you could just apply a brush-on a tinted gel in an upward motion to add oomph, then comb hairs toward the natural arch. Then you just add a fuchsia lip color.

Another look you could achieve for a day is the rosy glow together with peach lips. Make your skin the center of attention. Dab pink cream blush on the apples of your cheeks with your fingertips, then blend out and up. Pop on a peach gloss to complete the fresh and young look.

DISCOVER: Ways To Clean Your Makeup Brushes For Any Occasion

Do you face challenges in cleaning up your makeup brushes? When do you clean your brushes and how often do you clean your brushes?

The truth is, some people never clean their makeup brushes, but I suggest we change by cleaning makeup brushes at least once a month, ideally once a week. If you don’t have the time and luxury to do so what I suggest is that one should pick one night a week for me Sunday evenings are mine is Sundays, a good day to have my brushes cleaned before my week gets started.

Since I have given you the perfect time and need to clean your brushes I would not want to live you without a way to clean these make up brushes of yours. Alternatively, you can use warm water or a touch of bar or liquid soap to wash your brushes clean.
In washing your brushes you have to be really gentle about it especially with the tip of the brush. You need to gently massage the tips of the bristles in your palm and then rinse it, making sure the soap and makeup products are totally out When done, gently squeeze out any remaining moisture with a towel. It’s important to then shape the brushes to their desired shape so that when they’re dry, they’re in their original form for better performance.

While washing your brush, make sure you point your brushes downward when washing and never allow a wet brush to dry standing up, as the water will run back into the metal or plastic band that attaches the brushes to the handle and will end up loosen the glue that holds the brush and bristles together.  Always lay your makeup brushes down flat on a clean towel
