Issa Rae after covering on Who What Wear Magazine's February Issue, covers on Culture Magazine's second annual film issue where she is being celebrated in her works as a director, actor, writer and producer.
Rae thinks through impact, longevity and false promises of representation with writer Rawiya Kameir.
In her interview with the Magazine, she speaks of how it feels to be a black woman in Hollywood. "I'm always thinking about the fact that as a performer and someone on screen, I have a limited window. As a woman, as a Black person, there's only a Denzel career, Phylicia Rashad career, or a Debbie Allen-type career, but that's not always the case."

Issa Rae Features On Who What Wear Magazine February Issue
American actress and writer, Jo-Issa Rae Diop known as Issa Rae has featured on the Who What Wear Magazine February Issue. She looks absolutely beautiful as she is been styled by @jasonrembert, having her makeup done by @delinamedhin, had her hair done by @lovingyourhair and finally photographed by @little_t33.
When interviewed by the magazine she spoke of how she feels about her busy schedule explaining that she feels like it's a whole lot however she is excited for her fans to know what she has been up to.
According to her, she is ready to show just how multifaceted she is and is willing to try different things to know what she is capable of doing.
The actress also disclosed about her self discovery and growth saying, "continuing "Insecure", starring in back-to-back feature films, launching a record label, co0owning a coffee shop and operating two production companies could seem like a lot but she definitely enjoys what she does and that is what makes her work easier.
Issa Rae will play the lead role in a romantic drama, "The Photograph" in this month and later have "Insecure", the hit HBO show she created return for its fourth season.
In the month of April she will star alongside Kumail Nanjiani in "The Lovebirds", a rom-com that she executive produced.
