Love is that part of human existence where we put aside our priorities to focus on that of others. This beautiful expression of thoughtfulness and emotion is encompassed and highlighted by the celebration of valentine's day.
Saint Valentine's day is that part of the year where most persons look out for, as it offers an opportunity to pour out your emotions,love-filled thoughts and actions towards that special person or cause.
This day just as most festive seasons represents love and as such; is a day for lovers, friends, and family to express love towards each other and to a larger extent, the neglected in society.
From the day this day was celebrated, we have had people most especially couples and loved ones express their love on this particular day, where they take walks, give themselves threats, gifts and what have you however it was not same in Ghana since some Ghanaians seem not to place so much value on it.
For this year, it seems Ghanaians have really put in a lot of effort in celebrating this day probably because it fell on a weekend. So walking on the streets today, I could feel a lot of love in the air where most ladies have their lips broadened with smiles and guys moving majestically for how their day is going to end.
It's a working day so it is assumed the real deal would happen after work, that is the workers to be specific though the non workers have already taken the lead with their celebrations.
The real deal in terms of the looks, surprises and all would take place at night. A number of people happen to be in different colours instead of red since red represents love.
How I wish you experienced what I just experienced. It is our hope that relationships are going to be strengthened whereas families are going to get more united with themselves.
