The winner of 2019 Ghana's Most Beautiful, Queen Ekua Mends Bannerman has won the support of all Cape Coast metropolis residents to fight against the increasing drug abuse among the youth.
Ekua Bannerman won this support as she spoke at the official launch of the Association of Concerned Cape Coast Citizens and Residents, dedicated to spearheading the development across the metropolis.
The 23-year-old Queen advised parents to be vigilant to prevent their children from negative peer pressure and called on parents to join in the education of their wards, stating that there would be severe consequences if parents fail to fulfill their duties.
The youth must strive to avoid any acts that may mar the peace of the nation, but be respectful, hardworking, God-fearing and law-abiding, so that they will grow up to become very responsible adults in the future.
