BREAKING NORMS: Did You Know You Can Wear Both A Gold And Silver Jewelry?

Someway somehow, we have created some so-called fashion rules which must not be broken such as older women not wearing short dresses or skirts, ladies not wearing multi-colored outfits and many others however fashion rules are meant to be broken because we create them ourselves.

Fashion is always what you make out of what you have, based on this it is quite flexible with the rules, and you can still create a statement with your unique look.

What jewelry you wear defines your personality or mood. Sometimes you want something bold, and other times you want a sleek and straightforward style. The supposed rule or norm of not mixing gold and silver jewelry is a fashion NO-NO.
However, in this 21st century, we are a new generation with new perceptions about life making some fanny packs go wrong.

Mixing gold and silver gives you the liberty to play with different styles and patterns and create an overall beautiful look be it earrings, rings, necklaces and what have you.
When wearing a mixed metal piece, repeat each metal color elsewhere in your outfit at least once. This also helps make the metal mixing look more intentional. And remember, shoes and handbags count too.

Also when mixing metals, keep the styles cohesive with the outfit. So if the outfit is casual, keep the jewelry casual as well. If the outfit is formal, conservative, edgy… make sure your accessories carry the same aesthetic.
