WOW: Miss German 2020 Breaks New Grounds In Pageantry

Germany has taken the bold step to change the rules of beauty pageantry in the world starting from them where the Miss Germany pageant organizers set a standard of beauty for the average German woman with this year's contest.

On February 15, 2020, after the 18th edition of Miss German 2020 was held at the Europa Park Arena near Freiburg in Southern Germany, Namibian-born online entrepreneur, Leonie von Hase won the pageant ahead of thirteen other finalists.
She won over the six-woman-strong jury as well as won the state of Schleswig-Holstein nomination at the end of last year.

At the age of 35, Leonie was the oldest participant in this year's pageant final, with the motto "Empowering Authentic Women".  For the first time, the 2020 Miss Germany contest allowed married women, mothers, and pregnant women to participate without a bikini contest.
This year, the contest also saw the age limit raised by 10 years to include women up to 39 years old and not lesser than 18 years of age.
According to the 2020 Queen on the Miss German website, she posted that women have not been interested in striving for a conventional standard of beauty for a long time now and shared that for her the beauty of a woman is the strength, character, and authenticity.

Whether or not other countries will adapt to this change,  is up to time to tell.

CONGRATS TO REIGNING 2020 MISS GERMAN BEAUTY QUEEN!!!!!
